Youth Church
At the Peculiar House Church, our youth church is a place where young people can explore the christian faith, build positive relationships with one another and grow as followers of Jesus.
Teaching young people in the church to grow in their relationship with the Lord prepares them to serve Christ in all they do. As a result, this nurtures the congregation and allows the church to flourish.
Others see youth groups as having an educational or developmental purpose; enabling young people to meet with their peers; socialise and become part of the community in which they live; enabling young people to move from adolescence to adulthood; concerned with nurturing personal growth and offering activities that challenge and stimulate young people.
The youth usually have their meeting two Sundays in a month from 10 am till 1 pm
During weekly worship services, we set aside time to meaningfully engage children in the Bible through storytelling and activities. Children join their parents for the opening worship song, and then are dismissed for a time of learning in the children fellowship hall.
Children under 5 years old can be checked into the nursery adjacent to the fellowship hall.
